How do I arrange an appointment with you?

You can make an appointment by phoning (or texting) me on 07939 117 225, emailing me at [email protected] or completing the enquiry form if you click here.

If I am working or unavailable you may get my answerphone, but if you leave a message I will get back to you usually within a day or on the following Monday if you leave a message at the weekend.  Normally I will try to offer you an appointment within a few days, although at busy periods this may take a little longer. Evening appointments are generally more popular than daytime ones and so may take slightly longer before I can arrange one for you.

If you have a Hotmail address please add me as a contact otherwise my email back to you is likely to end up in your spam filter.

How often do I attend and how many sessions will I need?

Many clients have weekly appointments, although as therapy progresses this often can move to fortnightly or longer apart.  The number of sessions varies from client to client depending on individual circumstances.  As a rough guide sometimes people only need one or two sessions, whereas others come for a slightly longer period (often between 3-5 sessions).  I also offer longer term work where this is required. 

Please note this is only a guide and the number of times you come for counselling is decided by you.  I do not ask you to book a minimum number of sessions.

How long are appointments and what about cancellations?

Each appointment is 1 hour long.  If you need to cancel and reschedule an appointment 24 hours notice is required, otherwise the full fee is payable. 

Missed appointments are also charged for. 

How and when do I pay for my counselling session?

Payment is required at each session and this can be paid either by cash or using a debit or credit card.
I can only accept cheques for sessions paid in advance, payment on the day needs to be made in cash or by debit or credit card.
